Swing by our table to learn more about Atkinson Conservation's 50 YEAR history, accomplishments, our town's conserved land and trail systems. Join us for our Fun with Fungi: Mushroom Walk or our Family Scavenger Hunt. Members will be on hand to answer questions.

Join Atkinson resident Carol Boudreau as she takes you on a mushroom (and wild plant) tour in the Woodlock trails. Come learn how to identify our local mushrooms and wild plants including those edible and NOT. Carol has been foraging for mushrooms and wild plants for nearly fifty years. She is always ready to learn new things and has attended forays and classes with some of the most respected experts in the region. Carol describes herself as “an enthusiastic amateur” and enjoys discussing fungi on her Facebook group, New Hampshire Mushroom Hunters (NHMH).  

• Walk is limited to 15 people, ages 16 and over.     
• Registration day of event on first come first served basis starting at noon.     
• Estimated time:   45 minutes  

Fun, educational family scavenger hunt at Woodlock park and adjacent conservation trails! Great for kids of all ages and families to get out and explore the hiking trails while hunting for landmarks, plants, trees, bugs and a few surprises!   This is an "on your own activity" so come to our table anytime between 12 and 2:30pm to pick up your scavenger hunt list.   

• All completed lists must be returned by 3pm to win a prize.
